Another record year for QlikView in South Africa and in the rest of the world  

130% growth in South Africa, 80% growth internationally!

This has been another fantastic year for QlikView. Our success in the past year is a clear indication that our drive away from traditional OLAP technology and towards a new vision of simple and powerful in-memory analysis is gaining wide acceptance.

Here are some of the highlights of 2006:

·         Signed on 3197 new customers internationally. New South African clients include Aventis, Cell C, Capitec Bank, Distell, Fruit & Veg City, Nedbank, KWV, Mondi and Panasonic.

·         Recognised by IDC as the fastest growing BI vendor in the world for the third year in a row.

·         Selected as “best Execution of a Mid-Market IT Solution” by attendees at a Gartner Summit.

·         Achieved billion-record processing.

QlikView positioned in the visionary quadrant by Gartner

Gartner have just released their latest Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms. Here are some of their comments on QlikView. “QlikTech executed very well in 2006 …Its technical advantages using an in-memory data model, automated data integration and a graphical analytical environment have attracted customers looking for both ease of use and highly scalable functionality. Ironically, QlikTech - one of the smaller vendors evaluated in the Magic Quadrant - is able to show the most references, analyzing hundreds of millions of rows of data with good query performance”. QlikTech is now a member of the SAP NetWeaver® Partner Initiative.  QlikView Connector has received the “Certified for SAP NetWeaver®” designation.

Sun International take HR to a new level with QlikView

Sun International use PeopleSoft to log and keep track of their HR data. They soon found that the more data they had, the greater was their need for an analytical tool. They have now implemented QlikView to enable their HR managers to make informed business decisions in record time. Andre Harmse, their HR Systems Manager believes that they probably have the most advanced HR analytics data model in the country.
